Clarissa unfinished sketches

I have loads of half-finished Clarissa sketches clogging up my hard drive and I don't know what to do with them. Some are ideas I rejected and others are ideas I still want to complete, but I just can't find the time. Anyway, I really like to look at other artist's rough sketches (they're often more vibrant and interesting than the finished product). So I thought I'd do the same here for all you lovely people. So here is the first page of Clarissa sketches;) If any of them really speak to you let me know, If it gets enough support maybe I will ink and color it:

I love it when people get behind my creations, Clarissa Griff and Grillo. I've had some great feedback, and some awesome fan art. I'm featuring two such pieces here on my blog. First is an artwork by Slugguy, who did this wonderful pic of Clarissa and the boys (er... cats? whatever):

I always love to see someone else's take on my characters. Very cool.

Then I had my first fan fiction sent to me a little while ago. Renegado323 put a lot of thought into creating a really cool character for Clarissa's universe. Unfortunately I have not had time to draw him a sketch of the character, but I really loved the whole back story he developed for her, so I'm putting it up here. The character he created is a young Cadet described as follows:

"She is human girl who is shorter and younger than Clarissa. She is absurdly inept and an idiot, although she has a good heart. Griff and Grillo love when she is with them because they necessarily don't need to take Clarissa's clothes off, the cadet will do some accident and Clarissa and her will get stripped.

I thought about the character being daughter or granddaughter of an important politician, Earth ambassador or even the space police force commander. Thus, her relative used his influence to make the space police force academy accept her, she didn't need to make any test to join the academy. perhaps she was descendent of an great and legendary hero of the space police force, or her family gave many important heroes to the space police force, so she was accepted in there without tests. Inside the academy everyone noticed she was inept and idiot a lot, she have gone bad in all the tests and classes and she caused accidents in there. The academy principal didn't dare to banish her from the academy because he knew she was relative of someone with huge influence and the principal was afraid the relative would do something bad to him or to the academy. Maybe the relative would take off part of the money the government gives to the academy and/or the force, maybe the relative would use his influence so the principal would lose his job and/or rank, maybe there are more academies and the relative would use his influence to close that academy... In case she is relative of the principal, he used his influence so the faculty approves her in the disciplines. In case the character is descendent of an important hero of the space police, nobody in the academy dared to reproves her and to expel her from the academy.

And to get rid of her for some time at least, the principal asked the commander of the force to put the girl as apprentice of a space police officer. Then the commander chose Clarissa to teach her, and he told Clarissa to take the cadet in the missions and that no matter what Clarissa had to turn the girl into a good cadet. So, the cadet wasn't always with the Clarissa, half of the time the cadet had to stay at the academy studying and training."
Of course, as the cadet is so inept usually most of the time she hindered Clarissa during the missions. Perhaps they get captured by Cleavil by the cadet's fault, or maybe Clarissa has to save her in many situations. And had the situations the cadet saves everyone with dumb luck."

I'm back! and I'm playing with tentacles!

Man' it has been a while. But I come bearing gifts. This was a inked sketch I completed of Clarissa which sees her straying into Hentai country. By now she know better than to go wading into shallow water. Everyone knows that's a sure-fire way to get stripped by an angry tentacle beast.

I didn't add any color because I've had some cool people send me some colored version they did of my work recently, and I wanted to give them an opportunity to keep up the great work.
